I’m a college student at a university in California and I receive cal grant. I’ve been thinking about moving out on my own and attending another college in California. If I applied for FASFA would I be they pay for my rent and tuition if I lived on my own as a dependent and if I still received cal grant?
I am a freshman in college, and I am struggling with my Algebra class. I should not be in the class as I have not met the requirements for it, and I do not understand most of what has been taught. I have failed all of the quizzes so far. I am unable to answer half of the questions, and even after tutoring I find myself completely lost.
The course will be over in a four or five weeks, and it will take a miracle in order to pass. I am past the refund period for any of my classes.

I want to work towards a career in technical writing, I have a college degree in English but I do not feel sufficient with that? What more can I do?
Are there enough opportunities for technical writers? Where can I begin with no experience? I have been looking for volunteer work as a technical writer but couldn’t find any? please suggest something.
My State university has a 2 credit program in Grant writing and research writing, If I take that up will it help?
ok so i just turned 18 and i have terrible credit from a 2000 phone bill that was in my name when i was 15. since i was 15 couldn’t i get it dismissed because, from what i understand, a person in the united states cannot enter a contract until they are of age so wouldn’t that make that phone contract null and void? another thing what would they do to the person who set up the phone because the person that did is part of my family and if im going to get them set to jail for fraud or something i will just try and pay it off. also im about to go to college would that affect my eligibility for l (more…)
