Ok heres the deal. I just moved to Tennessee from Texas to be with my girlfriend and just graduated highschool so started college here. I’m living on my own working two jobs and am attending college part time. I am a minority and had a single mother who was owed thousands in child support from my father. I have an old truck and am in serious need of money to help negate school and living expenses. Also if my truck goes ill be sinking deeper than i already was. I had a 2.75GPA in highschool and scored a composite 29 on my ACT. Thanks for your help

the government gives all kinds of grants and loans to those who need them… with all of these banks (and other corporations) folding under, will the ability to get financial aid for higher education be severely jeopardized?

When many of us graduated from high school 20-25 years ago, universities would send campus reps to area high schools to recruit students. We would hear from student leaders, counselors and admission representatives regarding the many reasons why a particular school was the better choice for obtaining a degree.
