Open Question: How do you find charities or financial assistance for a recent widow with five children?
My sister’s husband unexpectedly commited suicide two weeks ago. She is now left with five children ranging in age from nine years old to ten months. She has been a stay at home mom for nine years and out of the work force. She is thirty and has no college experience under her belt. She has been left with no money and is struggling to find assitance financially. She is trying to find a job with her experience and unfortunetly is going to receive only little assistance from DES and Social Security. We have searched all over the internet for charities, grants, and organizations that might be able to help her through this hard time, but have had much difficulty. We are looking both nationally and locally (Gilbert, AZ). She is going through enough right now, grieving her husband of ten years next week, to agonize over how she will get her family through the next month financially. Please help me find outlets for support and assitance for this greiving family.
