I am a US citizen(high school student) planning on attending a university in England for the 2009-2010 academic year. I have been looking for information about student loans, grants, and scholarships but can’t really find anything except for US college students planning on a year abroad but of course that doesn’t help. I need financing for the first year, 20,000 for tuition and 13,000for living expenses. Any information would be great. Thanks.

My sister’s husband unexpectedly commited suicide two weeks ago. She is now left with five children ranging in age from nine years old to ten months. She has been a stay at home mom for nine years and out of the work force. She is thirty and has no college experience under her belt. She has been left with no money and is struggling to find assitance financially. She is trying to find a job with her experience and unfortunetly is going to receive only little assistance from DES and Social Security.
