I am a 24 year old college student living in California. I just recentlly transferred to a private college that offers a wonderful education, but it is costly.
I work part-time, but my income just about covers my living expenses. I need to know the best way to go about paying for my tuition. Any reasonable scholarships, grants or anything like that. I’ve never applied, so I’m not quite sure how to go about it or which scholarships or grants to go for.

receive pell grants while in college? Can you get them as long as you remain in college or does it cut off after a certain amount of years? One of my friends told meyou can only get it for four years straight. Well if that is true, can you quit one year then go back and let those 4 years start over?
