How do i not get a federeal pell grant or any money whatso ever from the government for my college. We may own a house but my mom is a single working woman and we pay $1900 mortgage a month with $500 profit. We rent 3 apartments only. Should i talk to my financial aid office, maybe i filled my FAFSA wrong. Can someone please tell me.
If you apply for FAFSA and recieve a grant of any sort, can you decide not to use that money for a year? For instance if I am at a community college, and am transfering to another school, if I apply for fafsa and recieve a grant will/can they hold it until I transfer? Thanks!
