Can anyone make any suggestions on what points I could emphasize as a mature applicant for my personal statement? Has anyone had any experience in working for a university admissions office that give me, as a mature applicant, some tips? I have an interesting background, but I would like to know what points that most mature applicants would not even think to emphasize as indeed being assets. Perhaps I have assets that I take for granted and would not even bother to mention. I would like to apply to a college that is not one of the four colleges that admit more of the mature students.
